Erlocip-150containing the active ingredient Erlotinib is considered a tyrosine kinase inhibitor type of medication. The medication works by interfering with the protein epidermal growth factor to prevent it from activating enzymes certain cancer cells require growing and multiplying. The tablets can be used along with other medications or other types of cancer treatment to treat non small cell lung cancer and pancreatic cancer that has spread to nearby tissues or to other parts of the body.
How is Erlocip-150 used?
Erlocip-150 is generally taken orally once daily or as otherwise directed by a doctor. The medication should be taken on an empty stomach with a glass of water at least 1 hour prior to or 2 hours after a meal.
